The automatic sensory nerve quantitative tester (Neurometer CPT/C) determines the conduction threshold (sNCT) of the tested sensory nerve by measuring the current sensory threshold (CPT) of the skin/mucosa. This is a fast and painless test method to objectively and comprehensively analyze and quantify the functions of thick myelinated, thin myelinated and unmyelinated sensory nerve fibers. The CPT/C detector is simple to operate and convenient to carry. The standardized double blind test is carried out by computer, which is very suitable for clinical and research use.
Clinical application of Neurometer CPT test in neurology:

• Identify sensory nerve dysfunction
• Determine the type, location and scope of sensory nerve dysfunction
• Differential diagnosis of myelopathy, radiculopathy, mononeuropathy, polyneuropathy, compression neuropathy, focal neuropathy or peripheral nerve injury; Differentiation between axonal and demyelinating lesions
